Dr. Michele Hill is an Associate Professor and Associate Department Head of Psychological Science at the University of North Georgia (UNG). Her work focuses on mental health and wellness, particularly among college students. She holds a master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a doctorate in Counseling Psychology, both from Georgia State University. Hill is a licensed counseling psychologist specializing in health psychology, emphasizing experiential learning to bridge theory and practice. She has established stress management labs, a Mental Health and Well-being lab, and is certified in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST). Her teaching philosophy emphasizes fostering student engagement through real-world applications and community projects.
