Dr. Sayma Shammi serves as a Lecturer in the School of Information Technology at Murdoch University, Australia, while holding an Adjunct Research Fellow position at the University of Southern Queensland. Her academic foundation includes a PhD in Information Technology from Murdoch University (2020-2024), an MSc in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from North South University (2014-2017), and a BSc in the same discipline from North South University (2009-2013).
Her research specializes in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with deep expertise in Deep Learning and Image Processing, applied to Digital Agriculture through Spatial Data Analysis and Temporal Data Analysis. She develops data-driven solutions for real-world agricultural challenges while integrating practical IT skills into her teaching curriculum.
