Dr. Saurabh Satija is a Casual Academic in the Faculty of Science at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). His research focuses on transdisciplinary approaches integrating biomaterials, natural products, and nucleic acid-based research to address global health challenges such as cancer, respiratory disorders, psoriasis, and diabetes. His work spans ethno-pharmacology, cancer nanotechnology, gene editing (CRISPR/Cas9), and medicinal plant research. He has over 10 years of teaching experience in biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences.
His funded research includes projects on cancer nanotechnology, nucleic acid delivery, and phytochemical therapies. Notable collaborations involve advanced drug delivery systems for targeting respiratory diseases and exploring herbal remedies for viral infections like SARS-CoV-2.
