Saule Omarova is the Earle Hepburn Professor of Law, specializing in financial regulation, banking law, and political economy of finance. Previously, she held roles as the Beth and Marc Goldberg Professor of Law at Cornell Law School and the George R. Ward Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina School of Law. Before academia, she practiced law at Davis, Polk, & Wardwell, focusing on financial regulation, and served as a Special Advisor for Regulatory Policy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
Her education includes a PhD in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a JD from Northwestern University School of Law.
