Saul Lubkin

Professor Saul Lubkin specializes in algebraic geometry and homological algebra at the University of Rochester. His current research develops novel p-adic cohomology theories for algebraic varieties in characteristic p, including bounded Witt vectors and divided power dagger cohomology approaches. He has contributed foundational work in category theory and algebraic topology.

Research Innovations: Created canonical lifting techniques for characteristic p varieties to characteristic zero using bounded Witt vectors. Developed computationally efficient divided power dagger cohomology as an alternative to traditional p-adic methods.
