Sathish Samiappan

Sathish Samiappan is an Assistant Research Professor at Mississippi State University's Geosystems Research Institute, applying remote sensing and image analysis to agriculture, wildlife management, and conservation. His work leverages drone and satellite data to optimize crop evaluation, animal population monitoring, and habitat protection while improving soil health and water quality.

His educational background includes undergraduate and master's degrees from India followed by a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Mississippi State University (2014).
