Dr Sathees Kunjuthamby is a Senior Lecturer in Business Management at the University of Greenwich’s Faculty of Business, within the School of Business, Operations and Strategy. With over 10 years of higher education experience, he specializes in teaching leadership, course design, and international partnerships. He holds a PhD and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).

Research Interests: Dr Kunjuthamby’s research focuses on strategic alliances, risk management in business and education, and pedagogical innovation. He is a pioneer in Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), having designed 16 COIL projects with global partners and delivered COIL workshops across multiple countries. His work emphasizes cross-cultural collaboration, experiential learning, and preparing students for globalized workplaces through immersive virtual and physical field experiences.
Key Contributions: His international field trips to Hong Kong, China, India, South Korea, and Europe highlight his commitment to experiential learning. He has led accreditations for programs in the UK and Hong Kong, including APM’s MSc Project Management accreditation and the HKCAAVQ Re-accreditation of Business Administration programs.

Labs/Teams: His work is centered around the COIL initiative, a team-driven approach to internationalizing education through virtual collaborations. He collaborates with institutions worldwide to create innovative cross-border learning environments.
