Sasha-Mae Eccleston holds the position of John Rowe Workman Assistant Professor of Classics at Brown University. Her research focuses on the intersection of materials, identity, and political dynamics in Greco-Roman antiquity and their resonance in postcolonial and imperial contexts. She examines ancient Greek and Roman literature, visual art, and built environments to explore sociopolitical shifts and embodied difference.
