Sascha Kate Hooker is a Professor and Deputy Head of the School of Biology at the University of St Andrews. She holds affiliations with the Scottish Oceans Institute, Institute of Behavioural and Neural Sciences, Sea Mammal Research Unit, and Marine Alliance for Science & Technology Scotland. Her research focuses on marine mammal foraging and diving behavior, conservation biology, and diving physiology. Notable projects include studying predator foraging ecology using video cameras, investigating diving physiology risks in marine mammals, and applying spatial management strategies for marine protected areas.
