Sarita Schoenebeck is a Professor of Information at the University of Michigan's School of Information, where she directs the Living Online Lab (LOL). Her research focuses on equity and justice in digital spaces, including issues like non-consensual intimate media, privacy in automated systems, and technology policy. She holds affiliations with the Digital Studies Institute, Science and Technology in Public Policy, and the Michigan Institute for Data Science. Previously, she served as an Adjunct Professor at UM Law School (2022) and Visiting Professor at Yale Law School (2021). Schoenebeck's work has been recognized with NSF CAREER Award, UMSI DEI Award, and ACM CSCW Service Award, among others.
