Sarit Kraus

Sarit Kraus is a Professor of Computer Science at Bar Ilan University and an Adjunct Professor at the Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS), University of Maryland. She has held these positions since 2001 and 1990, respectively, and has previously served as Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, Instructor, and Teaching Assistant at Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Kraus's research spans intelligent systems, negotiation and cooperation in mixed open environments (including humans), personalization, learning and clustering, security of physical systems, and optimization of complex systems. Her work emphasizes multiagent environments, non-classical logics, and real-world applications in security and robotics.

Her publications highlight advancements in negotiation algorithms, multirobot systems, and strategic decision-making. Notable contributions include frameworks for argumentation, coalition formation, and robust solutions to Stackelberg games, addressing bounded rationality and human preferences.
