Saranea Ganesan is a Research Fellow at Northumbria University's Psychology Department. She holds a PhD in Psychology from Monash University (Australia, 2022), where her doctoral research focused on shift work's impact on sleep and circadian rhythms in high-risk environments. Previously, she worked at the National University of Singapore's Sleep and Health Laboratory, studying screen time effects on children's sleep and mental health. Her current role involves leading a Wellcome Trust-funded project examining lithium's effects on light responses in healthy individuals.
