Dr. Elise Facer-Childs is a Senior Lecturer at Monash University's School of Psychological Sciences, holding roles as Deputy Director of the Sleep and Circadian Rhythms Research Program, Deputy Director of Research Impact and Engagement, and an ARC Industry Fellow. She completed her PhD at the University of Birmingham (2013–2017) and held fellowships with the Wellcome Trust and Science Industry Endowment Fund. She established the Facer-Childs Laboratory (Sleep and Performance) in 2022, focusing on sleep, chronobiology, and athlete performance. She consults for elite sports organizations like AFL, NRL, and World Tour Cycling, including work during the 2023 Tour de France.
