معرفی
Sarah Walker is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Biomedical Sciences at the University of New Hampshire. Her research focuses on understanding the roles of STAT transcription factors in breast and ovarian cancer, with a particular emphasis on identifying drugs targeting these pathways using 3D culturing systems and bioinformatics. She holds a Ph.D. in Cell and Developmental Biology from Harvard University and a B.S. in Biology and Bioinformatics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Research interests include cancer biology, drug discovery, molecular mechanisms of drug resistance, and cellular signaling pathways. Her work integrates wet lab experiments with computational approaches to develop therapeutic strategies against metastatic cancers.
Key achievements include studies on JAK-STAT signaling in inflammatory breast cancer and clinical trials of STAT3 inhibitors. Publications span topics from epigenetic therapies to single-cell cancer genomics, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to oncology research.
