Sarah Stoycos

Sarah Stoycos is Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at USC's Keck School of Medicine, serving as Attending Psychologist for Burn & Plastic Surgery services. Their research develops screening and intervention protocols for traumatic stress in medical populations, particularly burn trauma patients.

Recent studies examine psychosocial outcomes after violent burns (2025), pediatric return-to-school timelines post-burn, and cross-national comparisons of burn recovery.
