Sarah Scott Ford is a Postdoc researcher at the MOBILE Centre of Excellence for Global Mobility Law, University of Copenhagen. Her work focuses on the intersection of international and national judicial systems in transnational migration contexts.

Primary research areas examine how national courts engage with international law in migration matters, particularly through: legal theory and empirical methods, sociology of law, international migration law, and asylum practice. Her postdoc project analyzes free movement in West Africa, while contributing to the ANCHOR project studying international judgments' impact on Danish asylum decisions.
Recent publications explore protection revocation mechanisms in Nordic states, entanglement of refugee law with human rights regimes, and judicial interpretation of international obligations. Teaching focuses include International Human Rights Law, Migration Law, and Asylum Law modules.
