Sarah Scholl is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Theology, University of Geneva, with affiliations as an associate member of the GSRL (Groupe Sociétés Religions Laïcités) at EPHE, Paris. She serves on the committee of the Geneva History and Archaeology Society (SHAG) and the French Association of Contemporary Religious History (AFHRC).
Research Focus: Her work spans the history of European Christian culture (19th–20th centuries), religion-politics dynamics, secularization, religious education, and gendered medical history (particularly breastfeeding and parenting). She bridges theological and cultural history, examining topics like Protestant fundamentalism and Reformation commemorations.
- Key Projects: "Lactation in History" (Sinergia-FNS), "Religious Transmission in Conflict" (FNS Advanced Postdoc Mobility grant), and collaborative studies on religious spatial integration.
