Sarah S. Greene

Sarah S. Greene is an Assistant Professor and Academic Fieldwork Coordinator in the Graduate Occupational Therapy Department at St. Catherine University. Her research focuses on mental health and well-being in school-based settings, particularly for adolescents. She has presented nationally and locally on integrating mental health into occupational therapy practice. Prior to academia, she practiced as an occupational therapist for over 21 years, specializing in pediatrics, before joining St. Catherine University in 2023.

Education: B.A. in Occupational Therapy and Psychology from the College of St. Catherine, M.A. in Occupational Therapy, and a Post-Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, all from St. Catherine University. Her career spans clinical practice and academic roles, emphasizing mentorship and advocacy in mental health within educational systems.

Research interests include leveraging policy frameworks like ESSA to enhance occupational therapy’s role in school mental health. Recent publications address advocacy, policy implementation, and therapeutic interventions in educational environments.
