Sarah Rutherford

Sarah Rutherford is a Senior Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University. Her research focuses on perinatal mental health, particularly assessing parenting capacity among mothers with mental health needs, and investigating barriers to training opportunities for Black, Minority, and Ethnic (BME) support workers in healthcare settings. She has collaborated on projects addressing workforce development disparities and received the Mary Seacole Development Award for her contributions.
