Dr Cecilia Ellis is a Senior Lecturer at the Business School of Manchester Metropolitan University. She joined the university in 2009 and serves as Program Leader for the Postgraduate Human Resource Management (PG HRM) programs and the Level 7 Senior People Professional apprenticeship. Her teaching focuses on HR Analytics and Work and Working Lives at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with prior experience teaching Employment Relations and Performance and Reward.
Her research centers on the psychological contract, workplace closures, and organizational responses to job loss. As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), she actively contributes nationally as a Lead Moderator and assessment writer for Level 7. She supervises postgraduate dissertations and participates in PhD supervisory teams.
