- M.A. in English, Queen's University
- M.A. in Medieval Studies, University of Toronto
- Ph.D. in Medieval Studies, University of Toronto
Her research interests include medieval literature, allegory, dream visions, Chaucer studies, John Donne, Augustinian thought, and the history of science in the Middle Ages. She explores how medieval philosophical and theological ideas shape literary form and meaning, particularly in dream visions and allegorical texts.
Her recent publications reflect a deep engagement with the intersections between literature, philosophy, and theology. She analyzes texts by Chaucer, Donne, Spenser, and Nicholas of Cusa through the lens of Augustinian interiority, metaphysics, and ethical psychology. Her work often traces continuities between medieval and early modern thought, especially in how desire, knowledge, and selfhood are conceptualized.
