Professor Sarah O’Shea is a Distinguished Professor and Dean of Graduate Research at Charles Sturt University, with an Honorary Professorial position at the University of Wollongong and an IAS Fellowship at the University of Surrey. Her research focuses on educational equity, student belonging, and the impact of pandemic-induced learning spaces on marginalized populations.
Education:

Research Interests: Sarah leads interdisciplinary studies in higher education equity, particularly addressing barriers for first-in-family students, online learning disparities, and inclusive work-integrated learning practices. Her work contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
