Sarah McDonald is a Lecturer in the Children's Nursing team at Sheffield Hallam University since 2014. With a background as a Children's nurse and clinical educator, she focuses on nurturing future nursing professionals through innovative teaching methods. Her roles include academic advisor, module leader, employability lead, and Lead Link Lecturer. She actively participates in recruitment activities, including open days and interviews. She is completing a Master's in Health and Social Care Education (target completion 2020).

Research Interests: Exploring the transition of classroom-based practical nursing skills into clinical practice. Her work emphasizes bridging theory and real-world application in pediatric care settings.
