Sarah Marschlich serves as a Senior Research and Teaching Associate within the Public Sphere & Society Division at the Department of Communication and Media Research, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Zurich. She actively contributes to the Digital Society Initiative (DSI) through the DSI Community Communication.
Her research centers on organizational communication dynamics with specific emphasis on international public relations, gender issues, and organizational reputation/legitimacy. She investigates how societal factors—particularly news media and social media platforms—influence organizational communication strategies and public perception. Her interdisciplinary work bridges communication theory with practical applications in digital society contexts.
As an active member of the DSI Community Communication, she participates in cross-disciplinary initiatives examining digital transformation's impact on societal structures. Her academic profile reflects a strong commitment to analyzing contemporary communication challenges within evolving media ecosystems.
