Sarah Madsen Hardy is the Director of the Writing Program and a Teaching Professor at Boston University’s College of Arts and Sciences. She has been affiliated with BU since 2004, focusing on creative nonfiction, medical humanities, public writing, and writing pedagogy. Her research emphasizes information literacy habits in first-year writing classrooms. She holds a Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan (1997) and a B.A. in English from Wesleyan University (1989).
