Amy Bennett-Zendzian is a Lecturer and Writing Center Coordinator at Boston University. She has taught writing at BU since 2009 and in Boston-area colleges since 2004. Her research focuses on writing pedagogy, fairy tales, fantasy/science fiction, children’s literature, and young adult literature. She has published essays and book chapters, including work on the gift economy in The Hunger Games and teaching fairy tales in composition classes. Additionally, she is an internationally published poet and playwright, with works produced in stage, film festivals, and podcasts.
