Sarah Lloyd-Fox is a Principal Research Associate in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cambridge and a Bye-Fellow at Newnham College. Her research focuses on developmental trajectories of early cognitive and brain development during pregnancy, infancy, and early childhood, particularly examining how family and environmental contexts—such as poverty and multigenerational support—affect early life outcomes. She leads interdisciplinary projects including the BRIGHT and PIPKIN studies, which develop global neuroimaging tools and community-informed interventions to support families and children.
