Sarah Lewthwaite is a Principal Research Fellow and Co-Director of the Centre for Research in Inclusion at Southampton Education School, University of Southampton. Her work focuses on digital accessibility education, inclusion, and disability studies in both academic and workplace settings.

Sarah leads the UKRI-funded 'Teaching Accessibility in the Digital Skill Set' study and contributes to ESRC-funded digital skills development research. She has published extensively on digital inclusion, pedagogical strategies, and disability rights in technology.
She teaches advanced qualitative research methods and contributes to Masters-level digital innovation courses. Her external roles include speaking engagements on methods pedagogy (2016) and academic consulting.
