Sarah Kim

Dr. Sarah Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. She serves as the inaugural faculty hire for the UF Health Sciences Artificial Intelligence initiative. Her research focuses on pharmacometrics and AI-driven drug development, specifically targeting disease progression modeling and clinical trial optimization.

Education:
Ph.D. in Mathematics (Florida State University, 2015), M.S. in Applied Mathematics (Hanyang University, 2010), B.S. in Applied Mathematics (Hanyang University, 2008).

Research Focus:
Her work develops computational tools for neuromuscular diseases (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy) and metabolic disorders (Type 1 Diabetes), integrating machine learning with biomedical data analysis to optimize therapeutic interventions.
