Sarah Kate Bearman is a Professor at the University of Oregon's Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health and within the School Psychology program of the College of Education. She directs the LEAP Lab and serves as Director of Clinical Training at the Ballmer Institute. Her research focuses on implementation science for youth mental health, particularly testing flexible, transdiagnostic interventions in community clinics, schools, and pediatric primary care.

Her work emphasizes community partnerships to adapt interventions for resource-limited settings, with a focus on therapist training, consultation models, and sustainable mental health services. She co-authored the treatment manual Principle-Guided Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents: The FIRST Program. Her research has been funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, Department of Education, and the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
Recent publications explore topics including implementation sustainability, measurement feedback systems, and digital intervention adaptations. She provides training in transdiagnostic youth treatment for anxiety, depression, and trauma to diverse providers.
