Sarah Irvin

Sarah Irvin is a Lecturer in the Craft/Material Studies department at Virginia Commonwealth University's The Anderson. She holds an MFA from George Mason University and a BFA from the University of Georgia. Her artistic practice has been showcased in over 20 solo exhibitions and 50 group shows globally, with works in prestigious collections such as the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and Capital One.

As an independent curator, Irvin founded the Artist Parent Index, a database highlighting artists exploring parenthood through their work. She is represented by Kathryn Markel Fine Arts and Massey Klein Gallery in New York City.
