Sarah Hedlund

Sarah Hedlund is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology at George Washington University's Professional Psychology Program within the Columbian College of Arts & Sciences. She co-chairs the Psychological Assessment Track and maintains a private practice at Alexander Psychotherapy Associates since 1995, focusing on individual therapy, neuropsychological assessment, and projective measures like the Rorschach. Her roles include supervising graduate students in clinical settings and directing the Externship Program at The Lodge Program (2006-2020). She is affiliated with the Washington School of Psychiatry’s Supervision Program and actively involved in the AK Rice Institute and NTL for organizational dynamics, emphasizing diversity initiatives.

Her clinical training includes placements at Howard University Counseling Center, Catholic University’s Counseling Center, and The Rose School. Key distinctions include being an Associate at the A.K. Rice Institute and a member of the Washington Psychoanalytic Foundation.
