Professor Sarah Hart holds dual roles as a Professor of Mathematics at Birkbeck, University of London, and the first female Gresham Professor of Geometry since 1597. She is renowned for bridging mathematics with literature, music, and art, advocating for their complementary roles in understanding human existence. Her research spans group theory, mathematical history, and interdisciplinary studies, with a focus on symmetry, narrative structures, and cultural applications of mathematics.
