Dr. Sarah Harris is a Senior Lecturer in Biological Sciences at the University of Greenwich, affiliated with the School of Science within the Faculty of Engineering and Science. Her research focuses on molecular biology, particularly gut health in fish, immune responses, and microbiome populations. She has expertise in aquaculture and spinal cord regeneration therapies involving nanoparticles and neural stem cells.

- BSc Hons in Biochemistry from Keele University (UK)
- MRes and MPhil from Keele University and University of Veterinary Medicine Hanover (Germany)
- PhD in Fisheries Biology from Keele University and Hanover
Her research interests span molecular methods for analyzing gut bacteria populations, β-glucans' impact on gut immunity in carp, and interdisciplinary work with neural tissue engineering. She has held roles at institutions including the National Museum of Natural History (Paris) and collaborated with Professor Divya Chari on spinal cord regeneration.
