Sarah Hall is an Associate Lecturer in Public History at the University of York's Department of History. She specializes in early modern transatlantic history with a focus on puritan communities in England and New England. Her research explores social networks, correspondence patterns, and digital humanities approaches to historical analysis.
Her research interests include the application of qualitative and quantitative methods to study community formation in the 17th century, visual/digital media in public history, and dark heritage tourism. She serves as the Public Engagement and Events Officer and teaches undergraduate modules like Wonders, Marvels & Monsters in Early Modern Culture and postgraduate courses including Concepts and Approaches in Public History.
