Sarah Gosling is a Research Fellow at the Lennard-Jones School of Chemical and Physical Sciences, Keele University. Her work focuses on the intersection of biomedical imaging, cancer research, and materials science, particularly analyzing calcification patterns in prostate and breast tissues.
Research Interests: Dr. Gosling's research explores the elemental distribution and crystallography of microcalcifications as potential biomarkers for prostate and breast cancer pathology. She employs advanced techniques like X-ray diffraction and spectroscopy to study tissue heterogeneity and physico-chemical properties.
Recent Publications: Her most recent work (2025) includes studies on prostate calcification heterogeneity and anisotropy visualization in calcified tissues, with additional contributions to understanding DCIS recurrence markers (2023-2022) and breast tissue microstructure (2019).
