Sarah E. Turner is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Vermont. She holds a Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University (1995). Her research focuses on race and ethnicity in contemporary American literature, colorblind racism, post-racial ideology, popular culture, 20th/21st century Black women writers, modernism, and composition. She teaches courses such as 'Race and Television,' 'Woolf, Faulkner, and Morrison,' and 'Intro to Literary Theory.'
