Sarah Dow-Fleisner is an Associate Professor (Tenure) at the Faculty of Health and Social Development, School of Social Work, University of British Columbia (UBC). Her work focuses on children and families in high-risk contexts, parental mental health, substance use, and advanced statistical methodologies.

Research Interests: Dr. Dow-Fleisner investigates development trajectories of children in adversity, parent-child dynamics in mental health/substance use, perinatal care, and intervention programs. Her work integrates mixed-methods and equity-informed frameworks, including projects like the ADAPT Project (2021-2026) and youth vaping studies.
