Sarah Davis is an Associate Professor of Graphic Design at West Liberty University, part of the Department of Media and Visual Arts within the College of Liberal and Creative Arts. She has extensive teaching experience, including courses like ART190 Introduction to Computer Graphics, ART283 Graphic Design I, and ART386 Editorial Layout. Her professional background includes freelance graphic design, roles at firms like JW Krusinski Advertising & Design, and teaching at Pittsburgh Technical College from 1995 to 2013.
Education includes a Master of Science in Instructional Leadership from Robert Morris University (2002), a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Columbus College of Art and Design (1994), and an Associate in Specialized Technology in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (1988).
Her research and creative work are reflected in exhibitions such as the Faculty Art Show (PTC, 2005–2013), Boneyard Arts Festival (2010), and The Brew House (2009). She has received multiple awards, including the PTI C.O.R.E. Award for Teaching Excellence (2006) and Best of Show for her artwork “Train” (2007).
Professional memberships include AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) and the College Art Association (CAA). She is actively involved with the Nutting Gallery and the Creative Arts Therapy Club at West Liberty University.
