Sarah Dare

Sarah Dare is an Associate Professor at the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi's Department of Applied Sciences Teaching Unit (Earth Sciences), and holds a Canada Research Chair (Level 2) in Geochemistry Applied to Metallic Deposits. As Director of the LabMaTer geochemical facility, she specializes in cutting-edge analytical techniques like laser ablation-ICP-MS to study mineral systems.

Her research focuses on understanding the formation of ore deposits and optimizing exploration strategies in periglacial environments, particularly through trace element analysis of indicator minerals (e.g., oxides, apatite, sulfides).
