Sarah Crawford

Sarah Crawford serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Master of Science in Education (MSED) program at Northwestern University's School of Education and Social Policy (SESP). She has been actively teaching in the MSED program since 2019 while concurrently instructing middle school humanities in a Chicago Public Schools (CPS) institution. Her academic background includes a B.S. in Elementary Education from Loyola University Chicago and a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) with Reading Specialist Certification from Concordia University.

Her research interests focus on equity and diversity in teaching methodologies, school culture/climate dynamics, and pedagogical approaches in middle school English Language Arts (ELA) and social sciences. Crawford bridges theory and practice through her dual role as an educator in both higher education and K-12 settings.
