Martha Mulligan serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Northwestern University's School of Education and Social Policy (SESP), holding roles in both the Master of Science in Education program and the SESP Undergraduate Program. She is a mathematics teacher and department chair at Northside College Preparatory High School in Chicago, with National Board Certified Teacher designation since 2004 and National Evaluator certification since 2014. As a Framework Specialist in CPS, she supports district-wide teacher development initiatives.
Her education includes a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from National-Louis University and a BA in Dance and Education from Denison University.
Mulligan's work focuses on advancing teaching strategies aligned with the CPS Framework for Teaching, having previously served as a Teacher-in-Residence at SESP (2009-2010). She has taught across all levels of an integrated mathematics curriculum, mentored pre-service teachers, and led extracurricular initiatives including service learning programs.
