Dr Sarah Clifford is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Drug Policy Modelling Program within the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Her work focuses on the interplay between alcohol use, associated harms, and policy interventions aimed at mitigating these issues. With a background in health promotion and a PhD in Public Health (awarded in 2024), she specializes in evaluating the effectiveness of alcohol reform policies, such as the Northern Territory's Banned Drinker Register and Minimum Unit Price regulations.
Her research program spans alcohol policy and regulation, treatment systems, and harm reduction strategies. She is affiliated with the Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture at UNSW, where she contributes to interdisciplinary research in public health and social policy.
