Sarah Chan is a Reader and Chancellor's Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, based in the Centre for Biomedicine, Self and Society within the Usher Institute, College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. Her work spans the ethical dimensions of emerging biomedical technologies and healthcare practices, with a focus on fostering responsible innovation and inclusive governance.
Her research interests encompass a broad spectrum of bioethical issues, including the ethics of stem cell and embryo research, reproductive medicine, human enhancement, and genetic modification.
