Dr. Sarah Brush is a Tutor in Pastoral Theology and Director of the Context Based Pathway at Ripon College Cuddesdon, University of Oxford. Her research focuses on Medieval Church History, particularly Merovingian Episcopal Hagiography and Thirteenth Century contexts, alongside Practical Theology topics such as youth ministry, faith development, and ministerial formation. She emphasizes integrating historical tradition with contemporary cultural engagement in training clergy for the Church of England.
Her academic background includes doctoral work on Merovingian episcopal narratives and publications on Confirmation practices and educational chaplaincy. She currently oversees ordinand training programs, advocating for ministry grounded in Christian tradition while addressing modern societal challenges.
