Sarah Bell is a Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with The Babraham Institute. She completed her PhD at University College London and has held positions at Stanford University's Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Wellcome Trust Immunology Unit at Cambridge.
- PhD: University College London
Her research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of B cell tolerance and the role of RNA-binding proteins in immune function. Using conditional mutagenesis, she investigates how these proteins regulate immune responses, particularly in the context of autoimmune diseases and immunological regulation.
Throughout her career, Sarah has collaborated with notable researchers such as Chris Goodnow at Stanford and Doug Fearon at the Wellcome Trust Immunology Unit. Currently, she is part of Martin Turner's group at The Babraham Institute, where she continues to explore immunology and RNA-binding protein dynamics.
