Sarah Anne Ganter

Dr. Sarah Anne Ganter is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Simon Fraser University's School of Communication, Vancouver, Canada. She is also a research associate at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, University of Oxford, UK. Her research focuses on media governance, digital-era policy, cross-border media dynamics, and qualitative methods.

Awards include the Marietta-Blau Scholarship and a top paper award for her analysis of policy intertextuality.

Dr. Ganter actively reviews for journals like Communication Theory and conferences such as ICA and ECREA. She served as YECREA Communication Law & Policy representative and participates in global governance networks like GigaNet.
