Sarah A. Heimovics

Sarah A. Heimovics is an Associate Professor in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of St. Thomas. Her research focuses on neuroendocrine mechanisms regulating social behavior, examining seasonal plasticity, social experience impacts, neurosteroid functionality, and hormone-neurotransmitter interactions. She teaches Neurobiology of Social Behavior (NSCI 350), exploring neural correlates of communication, aggression, reproductive behavior, and human sociality through comparative approaches.
