معرفی
Dr. Sara Vahaji is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Engineering, RMIT University, specializing in fluid dynamics, thermal engineering, and biomedical applications. Her research focuses on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling of complex flows in medical devices, energy systems, and environmental technologies. She has supervised multiple research projects in areas like nasal drug delivery, solar panel maintenance, and thermoelectric desalination. Her work integrates interdisciplinary approaches across mechanical, biomedical, and electrical engineering disciplines.
Research interests include aerosol transport, multiphase flow analysis, heat transfer optimization, and CFD applications in respiratory physiology and energy systems. Notable projects involve nasal spray atomization dynamics, N95 mask CO2 retention effects, and oil-water flow characteristics in pipelines. She collaborates widely and has published extensively in high-impact journals.
Dr. Vahaji is actively involved in supervising PhD/Masters research projects on topics such as USV launch hydrodynamics, graphene-based water distillation systems, and AI-driven solar plant monitoring. Her work bridges theoretical modeling with practical engineering solutions, addressing challenges in healthcare, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability.
