Sara Thor is a Lecturer and Deputy Head of the Department at the Umeå School of Architecture, Umeå universitet. She teaches design studios for Years 2-3 of the Architecture Programme and oversees external collaborations as Deputy Head. Her research focuses on local communities, social infrastructures, and integrating food systems with sub-arctic climate conditions through projects like the Vinnova-funded 'Designing Cycles at 64°'.

- Professional Practice from Southbank University (London)
Research Interests: Sara explores eco-systems, re-use of existing urban fabric, and the Water-Energy-Food Nexus. Her work emphasizes adapting architecture to sub-arctic climates and sustainable resource management.
